English Language Learning

The English Language programme at HPSS is designed to meet the needs of all learners. Each learner has a personalised learning programme that allows them to develop their English skills, no matter their starting point. As part of orientation, students will sit an English placement test. The results of this placement test will allow the International team to accurately place students in the correct classes.

Although there are no English language entry requirements at HPSS, students are required to have a level of English that allows them to be successful. HPSS will use testing to assess the English skills of the students and place them in suitable classes. This may or may not be in the student's chosen year level. Parents and caregivers will be advised of class placements upon completion of testing.
